People have many questions when looking at aged care - here are answers to some of the more commonly asked questions, but please feel free to contact us should you have others not addressed here.

What is involved in the Catering Service?

All Cooking is done onsite in our Facilities, where a well balanced diet is served. We have a Dietician who is available for consultation and who assists with the development of the menu. We encourage your participation in the menu planning and your feedback.

We endeavour to provide a relaxed and social environment in our dining rooms.
Relatives are welcome to assist if the resident needs assistance with meals. (Prior consultation with staff is encouraged.) All special diets are catered for as are individual likes and dislikes.

In accordance with food safe Australia and New Zealand guidelines, all food brought into the facility must be safe and suitable for consumption. Please check with the registered nurse prior to bringing any food into the facility. Staff can assist with the sanitising, storage and labelling. Extra fluids and nourishment are always available.

The daily menu is displayed on the notice boards or dining room tables, which also shows meal times.
